"When you choose joy, you feel good. And when you feel good, you do good, and when you do good, it reminds others of what joy feels like.
And it just might inspire them to do the same."
Allie Grayce is a eleven year-old who was diagnosed with the blood disorder Hereditary Spherocytosis when she was just a few weeks old. Alongside her loving parents, Rhonda and Kevin, Allie has created Allie's Joys. Through Allie's Joys, Allie has enjoyed bringing joy and cheer to other sweet children with chronic illnesses during Christmas and other holidays.
"And though she
be but little, she is fierce."
One Christmas, Allie and her mom, Rhonda, made a delivery of toys to the hospital in which Allie was very familiar with. That led Allie to want to start donating toys and other items during Christmas and other holidays. That next year, Allie and her parents, with the help of family, friends, and a few strangers, donated lots of Easter baskets to be given to other kids with acute, chronic, or terminal illnesses.

The following year, Allie Grayce donated Christmas stockings to the same clinic.

In November of 2016, Allie came to her mom and wanted to do the stockings again for Christmas. Her mom talked with Allie's clinic and they came up with a plan! Nineteen pediatric patients with chronic health conditions received toys and stockings! Since, Allie has been able to actually deliver Christmas presents to children.
